How do I measure for a custom harness? Take a cloth measuring tape and place it around your dog's chest (behind the forelegs). Don't measure too tight or too loose. We need the actual chest size. When ordering through our online store, simply follow the size chart when selecting your harness. When ordering by phone or e-mail, simply indicate the chest measurement/girth as well as your leather color selection and medallion choice. What is the delivery time for custom items? If you require an item fast, check the link below. All in stock items ship within 1-2 business days. Custom items are produced to your specifications by our family business in Germany or our leather shop in Northern California and Arizona . Our delivery time for custom items is 2-4 weeks. Can you make really tiny leather colors? One of our many specialties is extra small leather collars for toy and teacup breeds. These are available in plain leather or with our smallest brass decorations like tiny stars, Austrian Diamante crystals, crowns or tiny rivets. Please measure your dog's neck with a cloth measuring tape. We also manufacture extra lightweight leashes with small hardware to match the collar or harness. | ||

My Dog is huge, and I cannot seem to find a pretty collar in his/her size. Do you make collars for extra large dogs that are strong enough? Most requests that we receive for extra large collars are for Akitas, Bullmastiffs and Rottweilers with a neck size of 32" - 34". Those collars are equipped with extra strong high quality hardware. We also offer matching leads and couplers with heavy duty clips for dogs upto 190 lbs. Click here to see a few of our heavy duty collars. | ||

What is your return policy? We will refund the purchase price for in-stock items if returned within 30 days. Custom items are non-refundable, however, we will gladly exchange your custom item for a different size or style. A 20% restocking fee applies to exchanged custom orders. Do you have a brochure? Yes, we will gladly mail you our extensive 60 page color literature package. We ask that you either mail a check for $45.00 to Tierisch Exclusiv, P.O. Box 2255, Sonoma, CA 95476 with your request for our color literature. You can also Paypal the amount to dogcollars@earthlink.net. Please specify "Tierisch Exclusiv 60 page literature package" in the subject line. The full $45 will be credited towards your first order of $150 or more if placed within 30 days of receipt of information. | ||

Do Your Leather Colors Bleed? Our leathers are eco friendly and do not bleed in rainy weather. | ||

My Dog goes in the water all the time. Will these collars and harnesses hold up? Our exquisite custom leather items are rugged and should be used and enjoyed every day. They hold up well in rainy weather and don't mind getting wet occasionally. If your dog spends much time swimming, don't expect these exquisite collars to look it's best for a long time. We recommend an inexpensive nylon collar for water activities instead. | ||
